Accredited by Ecotourism Australia, Aquila offers interpretive trails, guided walks, a resource library, and an entertainment/lecture amphitheatre. The telephone is the only line in to the Aquila property; Aquila collects all its own water, generates power, and deals with its waste on site.

The flora and fauna at Aquila have been surveyed by Trust For Nature, and include many species unique to the Grampians. In recognition of its quest for continuous improvement Aquila has received business and environmental management awards.
